Step one, download the Oxygen Forensic Detective installer from the link provided in the description below this video.

• Step two, open your downloads folder or the location where you saved the installation file. The file is in zip format. Rightclick and extract it. Then wait for the extraction process to complete. Now open the extracted folder and launch the setup file. When the installer opens, check I accept the license agreement.

  Then click install to begin the installation. The installation may take a few minutes, so please be patient. Once it's finished, click finish to complete the setup. Then go to your desktop and double click the Oxygen Forensic Detective icon to launch the tool. At this point, you might see a message saying USB dongle not found.
• Don't worry, this is expected. Stay focused because in the next step, I'll show you exactly how to fix it. Now, go back to the folder you extracted earlier. Open the folder named Oxy171031 patch. Select all the files inside and copy them. Next, go to your desktop, right click on the Oxygen Forensic Detective icon, and select open file location in the folder that opened.
• Paste the files you copied. Click replace the files in the destination. Make sure to check do this for all current items. Then click continue to complete the process. Go back to the desktop and open the tool. The activation key will appear and copy automatically. Just click okay. If an error shows up, click okay again.
• Then create a text file and paste the key into it. Now go back to the extracted folder and open the key gen folder. Then launch the VM protect application. Click open. Make sure all files is selected. Then choose keygen.vmp. After that click add license. Enter any name and any email. In the hardware ID field, paste the activation key you saved earlier from the text document.

  Now click add license. You'll see all the entered details along with a new field called serial number. Select the serial number and copy it using control C or command C. Go back to the extracted folder and open the key folder. Right click the file named oxy and open it with notepad. Delete the existing text, paste the serial number, then close and save the file. Now copy the updated Oxy file.
• Go to your desktop, rightclick the tools icon and choose open file location. Paste the file into the folder, then click continue when prompted. Now run the tool from your desktop. It's working perfectly. The activation was successful and you can now start using Oxygen Forensic Detective without any issues.
